Bandanna Ride
Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park

The Bandanna Ride will begin at 9 AM in Reidsville, GA at the Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park The Park offers RV and tent camping, rest rooms, and hot showers. Sponsored by the No Name Bike Club in the Claxton, GA area. Features: * Free entry * Souvenir bandanna to the first 120 cyclists to sign the waiver * Sag wagons, * Rest stops with snacks and PowerAde * Road markers * Maps * Low traffic country roads * Route options are 20, 47, and 62 miles * Rest rooms and hot showers onsite * Warm-up ride on Friday afternoon * Group campfire on Friday night.

Set in the rolling foothills of West Georgia’s Harris County, the home of internationally renowned Callaway, Gardens-Resort-Preserve,the WHEELS O’FIRE Century Cycle Tour offers plenty to see and plenty to do. Choose from 26, 45, 68 or 101 mile routes. $40 Registration Fee Includes: Breakfast, T shirt,Goody Bag, Pasta Dinner, SAG, Tour Map,Massage Estheticians on duty. Azalea Festival Century
Valdosta
Four routes will be offered in 2004. All are flat to gently rolling, perfect for the first big ride of the year or your first century ever. The century route will be 107 miles long with cut-offs at 77, 48 and 36 miles available. Fully SAG supported and is an official BRAG training ride. The route you choose will take you over back roads past farms and lakes and through small towns in South Georgia. First rest stop opens at 8 AM at South Lowndes Recreation Complex in Lake Park, GA. $25 per person if postmarked by March 1; $30 if after Mar 1. On-site registration available Friday, March 12 until 7:00 p.m. and before ride starts on Saturday, March 13 at 8:00 a.m. On-site showers and camping will be available. Helmets are required for the ride. All participants will receive a short sleeve T-shirt and a post-ride meal. Century finishers will also receive a hat. Stay and enjoy the 4th Annual Azalea City Festival being held on March 13th and 14th at Drexel Park in Valdosta, GA. The festival has live entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors, kids' activities and more. There is even a circus planned on Friday night, March 12th on the Valdosta State University campus. Southern Pride Ag Ride
Screven
The Wayne County Board of Tourism, Wayne County Young Farmers & Wayne County4-H will host the inaugural Southern PrideAg Ride The ride will begin in Screven, GA at the Grace Recreation Complex on Bill Royal Street. Options: 23, 48, 62 and 100 miles. The two century rides include mostly flat terrain but there are some rolling hills as the route travels closer to the Altamaha River. Routes will be flattop country roads traveling past cultivated farmlands in Wayne and Appling Counties. Enjoy a rural ride with lengths of 6, 15, 31 or 62 miles. Ride will be fully supported with rest stops located approximately every 15 miles along the route. Registration desk opens at 8 AM and there will be a mass start at 9 AM. Mail Entry before March 8 with $15 to guarantee a t-shirt. Late entry fee is $20. Byron is 20 minutes south of Macon on I-75. Take exit 149 and go west on Highway 49. Turn right onto Main Street at red light. Starting point is first Church on right after RR tracks. Approved helmets are mandatory.
